Monica Carroll writes. She holds a PhD in philosophy and poetry. She publishes short creative and experimental works as a solo artist, but also with her long-term collaborations under Magic&Medicine and Dudelsack Productions. She performs her work internationally. As an editor she has brought together collections of creative and academic work while also publishing critiques of recent poetry and the arts. As a mentor she has conducted inspirational workshops, coached writers, and provided manuscript assessments.
She is the 2017 Writer-in-Residence at M16 Artspace and the Donald Horne Creative and Cultural Fellow of the Centre for Creative and Cultural Research.
Her current projects include artists' books, phenomenology, space and empathy.
